Granny Audery's Jiffy Cobbler

Ingredients
1 Qt (4 cups) slightly sweetened fruit (I like peaches)1 cup sugar or Splenda 1 cup flour1 cup milk1/2 cup butter or margerine1 tsp baking powder1 tsp Vanilla1/2 tsp salt
Directions
1. Melt butter pour in a baking dish.
2. Mix everything but fruit and butter in a bowl. (Sugar, milk, flour, baking powder, vanilla, and salt) mix and pour it the baking dish on top of the melted butter. Do not mix with the butter.
3. Spoon fruit on TOP of the crust mixture. Do not mix.
4. Bake 25-30 min at 350 degrees
