Apple Sauce - Home made

Ingredients
12 Apples (I use Crisps or Matsu)5 tbsps or 15 teaspoons of firmly packed brown sugar1/2 tbsp of cinimon (more or less to taste)1/4 cup water (if apples are of the dryer variety)
Directions
Peel, core and slice apples and place in a large microwave safe dish (I use a large corningware), spinkle apples with brown sugar and cinimon. Cook in microwave open on high for about 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Mash with potato masher.

Yield will be 4 cups - serving size is 1/2 cup

Delicious with pork or ham - or as a dessert with a little cool whip.
