Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
1 pkg active yeast0.25 c. warm water1 egg0.25 c. shortening0.5 tsp. salt0.25 c. sugar0.35 c. warm water2.25 c. flour
Directions
Dissolve yeast in 0.5 cup warm water. Combine eggs, shortening, salt, sugar, and 0.35 cup warm water. Add dissolved yeast and stir. Add flour and knead. Let the dough rise approx. 1.5 hours or until doubled in size. Punch down. Shape into rolls and let rise again. Bake 12 min at 375 degrees. Yields 10-15 rolls.
