Choc-Oat Chip Cookie

1 cup crisco (or butter)1 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)1/2 cup granulated sugar2 large eggs (or 3 small)2 T. milk2 t. vanilla1 3/4 cup flour1 t. baking soda1/4 t. salt (optional)2 1/2 cups regular quaker oats1 cup chocolate chips1 cup chopped walnuts (or other of choice)1/2 cup raisins
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat crisco and sugar until very creamy. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Fold in oats, chips and raisins; mix well.
Drop by cookie scoop onto prepared cookie sheet. (I use parchment paper for best results.)
Bake 11 to 13 minutes.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to rack. Cool completely.
