Low Fat Baking Powder Biscuits Fannie Farmer-ish

Ingredients
* *Flour, white, 2 cup * Baking Powder, 2 tsp * Salt, 1 tsp * Butter, salted, 2 tbsp COLD * Milk, nonfat, 2/3 cup Preheat oven to 450 FSift dry ingredients together. Add butter and work in. Add milk and stir in to make a dough. If dough is too dry, add a little more milk.Turn out on floured board, knead until smooth. Roll out to 3/4" thickness. Cut with knife or biscuit cutter to make 12 biscuits. Place on ungreased cookie sheet ~ close together for soft-sided biscuits, one inch apart for crusty ones.Bake 12-15 minutes

    Great taste. Low fat. I did drop style and they slide right off the pan. - I've also made 1/6 of recipe (2 biscuits) and that turned out great as well. - 9/10/12
