sugar plums

Ingredients
2 cups almonds1 cup dried apricots1/2 cup dried dates1/2 cup dried plums1/4 cup honey1 1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp. nutmeg1/2 tsp. allspice2 tsp orange zest
Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Toast almonds for about 10 minutes. Grind almonds finely. Chop dried fruit finely or put in food processor. Add the rest of ingredients. Shape into balls. Makes about 24.

You may roll these in sugar or powdered sugar and you can vary the dried fruits but adjust the calories for that if you do.
