Kefta Tagine (FG)

Ingredients
Lamb, Ground, 16 oz onion, .5 cupParsley, .25 cup Salt, 1 tsp Ground Cumin seed, 1 tsp cayanne pepper, .25 tspTomatoes, red, ripe, canned, wedges in tomato juice, 4 cup Green Peppers (bell peppers), .75 cup, chopped Olive Oil, 2 tbsp Garlic, 2 clove Cilantro, raw, 4 tbsp Onions, raw, .5 cup, red or cayenne, .25 tbsp
Directions
Mix the first 5 ingredients for the meatballs and fry in oil, remove from pan. Add the onion, pepper and garlic and cook til onion is transparent then add the rest and cook down to a thick gravy...about 30 minutes. Add the meatballs back and simmer 10 minutes.

Serve with and egg poached in the vegetable gravy or better yet chopped hardboiled egg.
