Soft and Crispy Chocolate Chips Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup Shortening1/2Margarine1 cup granulated sugar1 cup brown sugar2 Eggs1 tsp. Vanilla2 cups flour1 tsp. baking sodadash salt1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Yield: 3 dozen

Mix the shortening and margarine together until blended.
Add the sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beat.
Add dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough.

Bake in a 375F oven for 8-12 minutes or until the edges are browned and the centres look undercooked. The cookies will continue to cook as they cool.
