Chana Masala

Ingredients
2 cups water, 2 large onions, 1 tsp ginger,1 tbsp coriander, 1 tbsp garam masala, 1 tbsp ground cumin, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsap cloves, 1.5 tsp chili powder, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 can tomato paste, 4 can chickpeas, 1 tsp salt
Directions
Heat 2 tbsp water in a large saucepan. Add onions and ginger, and saute for 5 minutes. Add sugar and spices and stir for 30 seconds, then add tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes. Add chickpeas and 2 cups water, cooking for 10-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt to taste.
