Asparagus Parmesano

Ingredients
1 lb. fresh asparagus1 tbsp. butter1 tbsp. flour1/4 cup chicken broth1/4 cup milk2 tbsp. cheddar cheese, shredded3 tbsp. parmesan cheese, grated1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions
Cook asparagus in boiling water until jus bright green and crisp. Drain and put in serving dish, and keep hot.

Melt butter, add flour, add chicken broth and milk, cook until thick. Add cheddar cheese and paramesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Pour cheese sauce over asparagus.

    this was really good. i actually had 2 servings of it for lunch one day. i did make a couple of differences, i used sodium free chicken broth, and fat free milk. it still tasted great. and it cut out alot of the sodium and calories. - 1/8/08
