Applesauce Nut Raisin Bread

*Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup *Flour, white, 1 cup Granulated Sugar, .75 cup Baking Powder, 3 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Applesauce, unsweetened, 1 cup Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp Allspice, .25 tsp Egg, fresh, 1 large *Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 2 tbsp Raisins, .5 cup (not packed) Walnuts, .5 cup, chopped
Mix/Sift together dry ingredients in a bowl. Add raisins and nuts and stir. Mix in applesauce, oil and egg just until well blended. Turn out into greased bread pan and bake at 350* for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then remove from pan. The original recipe says to cool overnight...I haven't made it that far yet!
