Quick Tomato Sauce with Mushrooms

Ingredients
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms4 cloves garlic, crushed or finely chopped2 t. dried basil1 t. dried oregano1/2 t each dried red pepper flakes and ground thyme28 oz can organic diced tomatoes6 oz can tomato paste3 oz white wine
Directions
Saute mushrooms in a nonstick pan, adding small amounts of water to keep them from sticking.

When the mushrooms have released some of their fluid add the spices. When you can smell the garlic, pour in the tomatoes, tomato paste and wine. (Pour the wine into the cans to rinse out the last of the tomato.)

Cook and stir for a couple of minutes.
