Nana's Meatloaf

Ingredients
Directions
1 lb. ground beef1 lb. ground sausage, Leanest1 med. bell pepper, chopped fine1 med. onion, chopped fine2 large eggs1 cup of uncooked oats
Preheat oven to 350F.
In mix, mix together beef and sausage until well blended. Add eggs, pepper, and onions; mix well. Add oats and blend thoroughly.
Turn into a 13 " x 9 " pan. Shape into a loaf-shape. This is easier if you keep your hands damp with water.
Bake for 1 hour. Drain off any fats, and then let set for 5 minutes before slicing.
Note:
I occasionally like to cover the top of this with catsup before baking. Ummm....GOOD!
