Dawn's Famous Best Chicken and Fruit Salad

2 lbs cooked chicken2 cups seedless grapes sliced in half1 can pineapple chunks or tidbits (drained)2 cups chopped bell peppers red, yellow and green1/2 cup diced green onions, white and green parts both1 can sliced water chestnuts drained1/3 cup toasted pecans1/2 cup light mayo1/2 cup light sour creamsalt and pepper to taste
Start with cooked chicken ready to use. Chop into bite size pieces. Mis the mayo and sour cream or greek yogurt. Thin just a bit to your desired consistency with the reserved pineapple juice. Add all the other ingredients and mix well..

I was looking for something different to take for a pot luck. Tastes delicious. Subbed sliced almonds for pecans. I'm thinking I just may add come chopped cilantro to whatever is left over to see what that does to the mix. I love cilantro and think it may be a hit. Thanks for sharing Dawn. - 2/5/11
