Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar1/2 cup butter1/2 cup corn syrup1/2 tsp vanilla1/2 tsp baking soda10 cups air popped popcorn
Directions
Place brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in large microwave safe bowl. Microwave 2.5 minutes
Remove and stir
Microwave 3 more minutes
Add vanilla and baking soda
place popped popcorn in brown paper bag.
Pour caramel over popped popcorn in brown paper bag and mix.
Fold over brown paper bag with caramel and popcorn. Microwave 1.5 minutes.

    I love this. I have been making it for over 30 years. I use about 3 times of much popcorn so I can reduce the calories. Also it is great to add some cinnamon to the syrup - 2/6/11
