Strawberry Jam, Reduced Sugar

Ingredients
2 cups strawberries, mashed or pureed1 package of sugar free strawberry jello1/4 cup sugar1 tsp balsamic vinegar1 cup water
Directions
Combine mashed strawberries, jello, sugar, water and balsamic vinegar in pan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes, remove from heat. When cool place in jars or another airtight container. Store in fridge for 1 week or freezer for several weeks. Adding the sugar makes the jam a bit thinner. Sugar can be eliminated for a sugar free jam.
