Garlic Cheese Grits

4 cups water1 teaspoon Salt1 Cup Quick Grits (I use Jim Dandy)1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.5 cup butter or margarine (i use Smart Balance 50/50)1 cup milk (iuse fat free)4 eggs beaten (or egg substitute)4 cloves garlic mincedSpices for your taste, I use paprika
Preheat oven to 350
Boil water in 3 quart sauce pan
add Grits and simmer 5 minutes stirring
add 1 cup of cheese and butter mix until melted
add milk eggs and seasoning (garlic and pepper or whatever you like)
Grease a 2 quart baking dish
pour mixture into a GREASED 2 quart baking dish
sprinkle with remaing cheese
Bake for 1 hour at 350 or until browned on top and no longer bubbly in the middle
