50g of porridge oats1 cup of 1% fat milkseveral cups of water to aid cooking!
add the oats to a saucepan or a large bowl for microwave, add the milk and about 1 cup of water - either heat the pan or microwave for 2 minutes - keep stiring the pan until it thickens - add more water if it gets too think (both in pan and microwave)
when finally cooked it will have a slightly slippery feel to it.
If you desperately need to sweeten it try a teaspoon of honey!
