saute butter and onions, then add carrots, saute a bit, then add shrooms, garlic, salt, thyme, saute until liquid is gone, add wine+sugar, stir until liquid is gone, add barley, bay leaf, veggie broth and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes, then slow pressure release, then add pepper and parsley. serve!
