Snitz half-moon pies

Ingredients
2 cups dried apples2/3 cup sugar1 1/2 cup water1/4 tsp cloves1/2 tsp cinnamonpastry for 2 9"-pies
Directions
Cook apples with sugar, water, and spices. Roll out pie dough and cut into 6 inch circles. Put 1/3 cup filling on each circle and fold in half. Press around edges to seal. Bake at 375.
