Oatmeal Waffles

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats1 Tbls baking powder1/2 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp salt2 eggs, slightly beaten1 1/2 cups milk2 Tbls margarine, melted1/4 cup applesauce2 Tbls brown sugar
Directions
Makes 12 waffles. In large mixing bowl, sitr together flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside. In small mixing bowl, sitr together eggs, milk, butter, applesauce and brown sugar. Add to flour mixture; sitr until blended. Pour batter onto grids of preheated, lightly greased waffle iron. Close lid quickly, do not open during baking.
