Mom's Goulash

* Ground beef, lean, 21.6 oz (remove) * Ancient Harvent Quinoa Gluten Free Elbow Macroni, 8 oz (remove) * Tomato juice, without salt added, 36 fl oz (remove)Minced Garlic ~ 1/2 - 1 teaspoonOnion Powder - 1 1/2 tablespoonsSeasonings (Montreal Steak Seaonsings)Crushed Red Pepper
(1) In a large pot, brown the meat with the garlic & other seasonings
(2) Stir in tomato juice
(3) Simmer on low for 15 - minutes.
(4) Stir in Macaroni, bring to a boil, cook according to package directions (about 8 minutes).
(5) Serve hot! We like to add cheese to ours in the bowl. I like shaved Asiago and he likes provolone slices.
My mother cooks it with diced onions. I can't touch raw onions and he doesn't like to dice so we use 1 1/2 tablespoons of onion powder. My mother also adds a 1/2 stick of butter (but we don't). (not added to the calculator).
