Ingredients
Directions
3 cups self-rising flour3 tbsp white sugar1 can/bottle beercarraway seeds (if desired)raisins (if desired) chopped nuts (if desired)
Put all ingredients together in a bowl and mix with a non-metal utensil (metal will react with the beer).
Put into a loaf pan and back at 350F (180C) for approximately 45 min or until loaf is lightly browned and hollow sounding.
Turn loaf out on a cooling rack. Slice and enjoy.
Depending on how thick you slice the loaf will make 12- 20 slices. This is a nice heavy bread and great for making toast.
