Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
1 Tbsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin1 Medium Onion, chopped4 14.5 oz. Cans Peeled Whole Tomatoes No Salt Added, drained and chopped or No Salt Added Diced Canned Tomatoes1 Garlic Clove, crushed4 Tbsp Tomato Paste2 Bay Leaf1/2 Tsp. Splenda No Calorie Sweetener1/2 Tsp Oregano1/2 Tsp Basil1/2 Tsp Salt Sense (Or to taste)2-3 Cups Water
Directions
In a medium-size saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is soft, about 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, bay leaf, sugar, basil, and oregano. Thin with water to taste. To make more like sauce from the jar, use immersion blender or regular blender and puree until smooth.

Simmer until sauce reduces by half. I usually simmer over low heat for at least 2 hours.
