Banana-Oatmeal Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
Note: Use organic ingredients when available. 1/2 c Instant Oatmeal - plain, uncooked 1.5 c Water3 egg whites - cooked1 c milk (I use lactaid skim).1 Banana, large3.5 tbsp chopped ginger1 - 2 tbsp honey (Optional. I use 1 tpsp.)
Directions
1) Add 1/2 - 1 cup of water to a pan. Heat the water till simmering. Pour in the egg whites.

2) While egg whites are cooking, add instant oatmeal and water into a bowl. Cook for 2 minutes in the microwave.

2) Add cooked oatmeal, cooked egg whites + water from pan, and all other ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth.

Makes 2-3 servings.
