I used olive oil instead didn't have applesauce and I used all brown sugar. Turned out really well and tasted good.Next time will try using yogurt instead. - 12/22/18

This turned out great; very most and flavorful. I love the use of whole wheat flour, and the nutritional boost of pumpkin. I would like to figure out how to lower the sugar content somewhat though. - 11/2/11

Excellent! I made this last night and brought it in to work and it's getting great reviews! (The carton I brought it in is empty, if that's any indication!) Although I didn't have semi-sweet chips on hand so I opted for chopped walnuts instead. It's very yummy and I'm gonna keep this recipe! - 10/24/07
