Beef, top sirloin, 1000 grams (remove)Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped Garlic, 3 cloves, finely choppedMushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, slices Celery, raw, 2 cup, diced Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, chopped Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1 cup Canned Diced Tomatoes, 2 cupsLentils, 2 cups rawParsley, 1 cup choppedBeef stock 8 cups (or water)2 bay leavessalt and pepper to taste
Cook beef in a pan with onions and garlic. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker. Cook on high heat for 5-6 hours, depending on cooker. Makes 10 servings.
Note: You may also wish to cut all ingredients in half. Reduce cooking time by 1-2 hours.
