Basic Middle Eastern Salad dressing

Ingredients
5 small to med cloved garlic1.5 teas salt1 teas black pepper1 teas onion powderZest of on lemon(about 2 Tbls) .5 cup FRESH lemon juice( Bottled won't work very well here)5 Tbls olive oil1 teas honey
Directions
In a large mortar & pestle grind the garlic and salt into a smooth paste. Add in remaining spices zest and lemon juice and stir well to incorporate. Add Oil in a thin stream while whisking vigorously. Then drizzle in honey while also whisking.

Makes 8 generous 2Tbls servings
