Broccoli Almond Casserole

4-6 cups Broccoli1 Clove Garlic, pressed (or 2 tsp. crushed garlic)1 3/4 cups celery, chopped1 large Onion, diced1 Tbs. Lite Butter Spread1 (10 ounce) can Cream of Mushroom Soup (99% Fat Free)100g Cheese of your choice, grated ( I use Mainlands Vegetarian Edam 25% fat free)1 cup Portobella Mushrooms, chopped1/2 cup Slivered Almonds (raw)
Pre-stream broccoli for about 5 minutes. Saute onions and garlic in butter. Add soup, 3/4 of your grated cheese and mushrooms to sauteed onion mixture. Put broccoli into a greased casserole dish and pour sauce over it. Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over this and then sprinkle the slivered almonds on top. Bake at 350 degF (or 175 C) for 30-40 minutes (or until almonds and cheese are slightly toasted brown).
