Slow-Cooker Irish Beef Stew

1 lb. 93% lean ground beef1 (12 oz.) bottle Killian's Irish Red Beer1 leek, chopped1 tsp. ground thyme3 large raw potatoes, sliced28 baby carrots (6 oz.)2 large celery stalks, chopped1 c. water1 tsp. powdered beef bouillon
Brown ground beef; add chopped leek, bottle of Killian's Irish Red, and thyme. Simmer 5 minutes. Layer potato slices, carrots, celery, and beef mixture in slow cooker. Mix water and powdered beef bouillon; pour over beef and vegetable mixture. Cook on high for four hours. Makes 8 (1 c.) servings.
