Diet Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

1 box Lemon Cake mix1 can diet lemon-lime soda1/4 cup poppy seeds1 (8 oz.) tub light whipped topping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees for cake pan.
Grease bottom only of 9x11 cake pan (or use cooking spray).
Stir together cake mix and diet soda in medium bowl. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely; spread whipped topping on top of cake. Cut into 4-by-5 rows for 20 servings.
