Veggie pulao

Ingredients
brown riceassorted vegetableswhole seedsginger/garlic
Directions
Soak the rice while you chop the veggies into medium small pieces. You can add whatever veggies you like, these are just what I had on hand. Put rice on to cook in microwave, steamer, or stovetop pan whatever you like to do. Heat the oil in a pan and when it is hot add the seeds, then the ginger and garlic and chilies. I also used black mustard seeds but could not find them in the options of ingredients. Use what you like and adjust amounts to suit your taste. This is a very forgiving recipe. Add veggies adding the ones that take longest first then add rest a bit later. When rice and veggies are almost done stir them together gently. Serve. Next time I will dry roast the spices to save some calories and do without the oil.
