Mexican ground beef Quinoa skillet

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef1/2 cup chopped onion1 (15 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes1 cup quinoa1 1/2 cups water1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder1 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper1 tsp salt
Directions
1 Brown ground beef and onion and drain excess fat.
2 Rinse quinoa.
3 Add tomatoes, chilies, quinoa, water and spices to ground beef and simmer, uncovered, for about 25 minutes.
4 If water evaporates, cover pan for remainder of cooking time.
