Blackeye peas & Rice

Ingredients
3 Tbsps olive oil, extra virgin1 cup onions, chopped1 jalapeno pepper, chopped4 garlic cloves, chopped2 cups cooked blackeye peas1 cup rice1/2 tsp dried thyme1/2 tsp dried marjoram2 tsp worcestershir sauce2 cups chicken broth
Directions
Saute onions, jalapeno and garlic in olive oil for 4 minutes
Add blackeye peas and cook for another 3 minutes
Add rice, chicken broth, worcestershire sauce and thyme & marjoram.
Lower heat to medium and cook covered until all the liquid is absorbed (about 20 minutes).
