Amanda's Taco Pie/Casserole

Ingredients
Crust:2 Cups of Bisquick for bottom crust1 Cup of 2% milk for bottom crust 1/2 Cup of Bisquick for top crust1/2 Cup of 2% milk for top crustFilling:1 lb. of Lean Ground Beef4 cups of Mild salsa (or medium depending on how hot you want it)Velveeta Cheese Spread (made with 2% milk)2 cloves of garlic (chopped)1 cup of chopped onion2 slices of jalapeno cut into piecesSpices:chili powderpaprikacayennepeppergarlic saltLawry's season-all salt
Directions
Bottom Crust:
Mix together Bisquick, milk, cayenne, chili powder, and paprika until slighty sticky...the bottom crust doesnt have to be perfect..
Then butter or use Pam on the bottom of the casserole dish..(i use glass)..set aside.

Filling:
Brown the beef in a skillet with onions, garlic, and seasonings...Drain fat and add salsa and the 2 slices of jalapeno into the pan with the meat and let simmer for about 5 minutes...spread bottom crust into the bottom of the baking dish...Add the meat filling into the dish....Slice the cheese into 6 slices and add on top of the meat mixture.

Top Crust:
mix together the remaining Bisquick mix and milk until soft and smooth...use a rolling pin to spread out the dough and put on top of the filling until it covers the entire baking dish...

Bake in 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes...or until lightly browned on top and cheese is sizzling inside the pie...let cool for 5 minutes and ENJOY!!!
