Tuna Burgers- using canned tuna

Ingredients
2 six oz cans Tuna, in water2 large eGgs1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs 1/3 cup minced onion1/4 cup chopped red bell peppers1/2 cup light miracle whip4 tbsps ketchup1 tsp dill weed, dry1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepperHot pepper sauce to taste (3 dashes)Worcestershire sauce to tast (3 dashes)
Directions
1. Combine tuna, egg, bread crumbs, onion, celery, red bell pepper, mayonnaise, chili sauce, dill, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to make the patties easier to handle, if desired.

2. Shape into 8 patties (mixture will be very soft and delicate).

3. Coat a non-stick skillet with cooking spray; fry tuna patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. These are fragile, so be careful when turning them.

Serve on buns with tomato slices and lettuce leaves, if desired.

    I had tuna burgers once before at a restaurant and they were horrid!!! But not this recipe, took a chance and omg they are so good!!! Even my nephew who says that he hates tuna fish liked them, just told him we was having burgers, you got to trick kids every once and a while. - 1/31/12

    I made this for lunch today and it was DELICIOUS! I didnt have italian seasoned breadcrumbs so I used regular panko and added garlic and basil. I cut the recipe in half and made 4 patties. Served them on light wheat buns with a green salad. Very filling. Will make OFTEN! - 4/9/11
