*Barbecue Sauce, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)*Ginger Ale, .50 can or bottle (16 fl oz) (remove)*Onions, raw, 3 cup, chopped (remove)*Pork Shoulder (pork butt, picnic roast) (3 pounds)
Cut up onions. Put in on top of the pork shoulder in a crockpot. Add Ginger Ale. Cook on low for 10 hours. When finished remove the juices/onions (usually keep a few) and shred the pork with two forks. Add BBQ Sauce. Cook a few more minutes to get warm. Serve on Bun or not.
