Low Carb/Gluten Free Flax Wrap

Ingredients
2.5 TBSP flax meal (ground flax Seeds)1/4 tsp baking powderpinch of onion powderpinch garlic salt1 large egg, beaten1 TBSP water1 TBSP melted butter or olive oil
Directions
Mix all ingredients well.

Pour into well greased glass pie plate and microwave for 3 minutes on High.

Can also be made in a frying pan on the stove, well grease and bake like a pancake.

Variation: Omit spices and add sweetener and cinnamon for a pancake, serve with sugar free syrup.

You can add fresh garlic and cheese for a garlic cheese bread type wrap.

    I made these yesterday for the first time, using the cinnamon variation but w/o sweetener. My husband and I loved them. We tried them with several different spreads and fillings - my favorite was cottage cheese and blueberries, my husband preferred to eat them like pancakes with a little honey. - 6/16/14
