Basic Green Smoothie

Half head of Romaine lettuce (more or less, to taste)1 cup of spinach (more or less, to taste)Juice of 1/2 lemon1 apple (or more, to taste)1 banana1 pearWater as needed to blend
Use water as needed to blend smoothly. If you have a high quality blender, just put it all in and blend! If your blender isn't quite so good, start by adding a handful of washed greens to the blender with water. Blend. Gradually add more of the greens. Then add juice of lemon to help keep it from browning. Finally, blend in fruit. Taste test, adjust with more fruit or greens if desired, and enjoy this delicious kick of nutrition! :)
OPTIONAL ADD-INS: flax oil, avocado, frozen berries other fruit cayenne, ginger, hemp seeds, etc.
Serving Size: Makes about 32 oz total, which I like to drink throughout the morning. But can be split into 2 servings easily.
