Ingredients
Directions
1/2 lb ground beef, made into 4 patties4 ears sweet corn4 cups chopped carrots2 potatoes, chunked1/2 can cream of mushroom soup (or other cream soup you prefer)seasonings
Using heavy duty aluminum foil, use 2 pieces to make an "X" shape, each piece being big enough to hold one person's food. Spray the inside piece well with cooking spray.
In each packet put 1 burger patty, 1 ear of corn, 1 cup of carrots, 1/2 of a potato. Season as you prefer. Dollop 1/4 of the cream of mushroom soup on the top of the packet for moisture.
Wrap the inner piece, and then the outer piece to make sure that it is completely sealed. Hobo Dinners are great to use on the Grill, or on the edge of a campfire.
It takes some trial and error until you "know" when they're about ready. We usually open the top and cut the burger or temp it with a thermometer to tell when it's done. When the burger is thoroughly cooked and the veggies are done - enjoy!
