Pita Bread

Ingredients
41/2 - 4 3/4 c flour1 pkg dry yeast1 1/2 tsp salt1 3/4 c water2 T vegetable oil
Directions
Combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Mix well. Beat water and oil until warm. Add to flour mixture. Beat 3 minutes. Stir in rest of flour. Knead 10 minutes. Punch down. Divide into 12 equal parts (about 3oz each). Roll into 12 balls. Let rise 30 mnutes. Heat oven to 500 degres. Roll out flat. Place 3 circles at a time on oven rack. (or on a pizza pan with holes in it). Bake 3 min utes or until brown. Cool before cutting or they will drop. Fill with your favorite filling just before serving.
