Basic Cooked Rice

Ingredients
1 cup long grain, white rice2 T butter1 tsp salt2 cups water
Directions
Combine rice, butter and salt in a saucepan over med-hi heat. Stir constantly until butter melts, being careful not to burn the rice. Add the water and bring to a boil.

Simmer until water is almost absorbed. Remove from heat and cover. Allow to sit 10 minutes, or until water is completely absorbed. Fluff rice with fork and serve hot.
