Guadalajara Carne Asada Taco

Ingredients
Also known as sabrosos tacos, at their most simplest these tacos are just meat, cilantro and onion. You may add any number of toppings to the basic recipe. We like cheese, avocado, salsa and fresh lime juice. Add your favorite toppings, or enjoy just as they are. Makes any number of tacos depending on amounts of toppings you prepare.The ingredients list reflects amounts per taco. That way the calorie/fat/carbo/protien nutrition values will be easier to track by the number of tacos eaten.Basic -----2 oz flank steak1 Tbsp chopped onion1/2 Tbsp chopped cilantro1 corn tortilla (medium, approx 6 inches)Toppings -----1/5 cup shredded colby moneterey jack cheese1 tsp mashed avocado1/2 Tbsp salsa1/4 wedge fresh squeezed lime juice
Directions
chop: cilantro; onion
grate: cheese (colby/monterey jack)
quarter: a fresh lime
mash: avocado (adding ingredients to make guacamole will add to the nutrition fact sheet values)
Set all prepped ingredients aside.

chop: flank steak into 1/4 inch or smaller pieces
Quickly braise flank steak, chopped.

Microwave tortilla to soften - 15 seconds or so.
Add steak as first layer to tortilla.
Add onion and cilantro.

Toppings:
Drizzle with fresh squeezed lime juice.
Add shredded cheese, avocado, and salsa.
Fold tortilla in half and enjoy !
