southern steamed squash

Ingredients
3 yellow squash {medium}2 green zucchini {medium}6 oz bacon, bout 4 slices may add onion or garlic for those who like it . 1 tsp garlic.25 cup diced onion
Directions
cut bacon into small pieces {i use scissors}
brown bacon
drain most of the grease
slice thinly all vegetables
put in pan with bacon
add a little water to keep the bottom from singing {this will cook out}
cook until tender.
may want to add some soy sauce or dales when done to taste
