Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Roast

1 cup chopped celery 1 cup chopped onions 1 cup ketchup 1 cup barbecue sauce 1 cup water 2 tbsp vinegar 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp brown sugar 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 3 lbs boneless pork roast
Combine all ingredients except roast in the slow cooker.
Add the roast.
Cover, cook on high for 6-7 hours.
Remove the roast.
Shred the meat, and return it to the sauce.
If desired, thicken the sauce by simmering on the stovetop.
Great for making sandwiches or using in other recipes. The sauce is good on rice, too.

I made this last Friday and it was delicious. My husband loved it and I may spice it up a little next time, with some paprika or chili powder. My kids were not so enamored with it, but they are only 5 and 7 and still learning to try and like lots of different foods. Made great leftover sandwichs! - 1/26/09

This is a incredible melt in your mouth pulled pork,I didnt add the ketchup or worcestershire sauce or brown sugar used only 1/2 cup water and used cider vinegar and also mrs dash extra spicy on only a 2 pound roast .pull roast out shred and add sauce back to crock seemed to work great as others did - 6/27/10
