Fruit and mixed greens salad with yogurt dressing

Ingredients
1/4 cup lowfat yogurt1 tsp. honey1 red delicious apple, chopped1 golden delicious apple, chopped1/2 cup celery, sliced thinly1 small banana, sliced1 kiwi, halved and sliced10 red seedless grapes, halved10 white grapes, halved2 Tbsp. honey wheat germ3 cups mixed salad greens (1 cup per serving)
Directions
blend honey into yogurt and set aside.

chop apples and banana. place in bowl and drizzle with 1/2 the yogurt and blend well. add the rest of the fruits and celery, combine with additional yogurt dressing and mix until all is coated well. add wheat germ and mix again.

place 1 1/2 cups of on top of 1 cup of mixed greens.

notes:
-can toss the fruit salad with the greens to help coat the whole salad.
--would be excellent with mandarin oranges and crushed mint.

Makes 3 (1 1/2 cup servings of fruit salad on 1 cup of mixed salad greens)

    This was delicious! I used different apples because I have my favorites, but the salad was great. It has lots of crunch which is a texture craving for me. I also like that the fruit in this recipe is available year-round. - 12/8/07
