Slow Cooker Pork Green Chile

Ingredients
2 lbs. diced pork 3 10 oz. cans of diced tomatoes and green chilies such as Rotel.2 141/2 oz. cans Fat Free Low Sodium Chicken Broth1 Tablespoon diced Jalapeno (optional)1 small onion diced1 Tablespoon Cumin1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder1 Tablespoon Black Pepper1 teaspoon salt1/4 cup to 3/4 cup flour or favorite thickenerwater
Directions
Brown diced pork; add all other ingredients into either a large slow cooker or a dutch oven. Cook on low heat for 5 to 7 hours. When ready to eat, add a mixture of flour and water that has been whisked together to form a smooth paste. Thoroughly mix into chile and cook an addtional 20-30 minutes. Freezes great!

    Fantastic! Used fresh, roasted hatch chiles instead of canned and just put a whole pork roast in and pulled the pork right off the bone after the 8hrs in the slow cooker. Recommend you remove the skin of the chiles if using fresh. - 10/20/08
