Hot Five-Grain Cereal

6 cups water1/2 cup regular brown rice1/2 cup regular pearl barley1/3 cup wheat berries1/3 cup rye berries1/3 cup millet1 cup raisins1 cup applesauce
In a large saucepan, heat the water to boiling; stir in the raisins, applesauce, brown rice, barley, wheat berries, rye berries, and millet. Return to boiling. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 45-60 minutes or till grains are tender, stirring occasionally.
Can serve with fresh fruit, honey, maple syrup... (not included in nutritional info)
