Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour1 tsp vanilla1 cup soft butter1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar1 tsp salt1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Directions
Mix all ingredients. Roll into small balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 355 degrees for 15 minutes. When cool, roll in powdered sugar. (or roll inpowdered sugar while still warm and then again when cooled.)

    I cut down the flour by 1/2 cup and use an extra 1/2 cup ground nuts instead-- also, I use a blend of walnuts and pecans. :) YUM. Thanks for sharing, this is one of my favorite holiday cookies. - 12/25/10
