Red Gravy

Ingredients
1 - 28 oz can of whole peeled plum tomatoes2 - 28 oz cans of tomato puree1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese6 - cloves gralic (may be more)1 - medium onion diced1 tsp sugar1 tsp salt3 cloves (this may be omitted if you do not like a sweet gravy) 1/2 cup - Olive OIl
Directions
In a large stock pot, saute the onions and garlic is a 1/4 cup of olive oil.

In a large bowl, empty whole tomatoes and squeeze by hand... put tomatoes and puree in stock pot... add all other ingredients and simmer on a low heat checking frequently for thickening... ONce gravy starts to thicken, it must be stirred frequently to prevent burning.

Meat can be added to the gravy if desired. raw meatballs and are fine, however, pork or other meats should be seared before added into the gravy.
